This test is designed for home use with self-collected Nasal swab samples from symptomatic individuals who are suspected of being infected with COVID-19 within the first 7 days of symptom onset. The COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (Nasal Swab) obtain a preliminary result only, the final confirmation should be based on clinical diagnostic results.

It detects the COVID-19 pathogen and its antigens directly and can thus recognise symptomatic and asymptomatic infections.

To do this, a smear is taken from the front of the nose and applied to a test cassette. This works according to the lateral flow principle and shows within 10 to 15 minutes whether COVID-19 antigens could be detected in the sample. All the necessary materials are included in the test kit.
